I have no words to describe how emotional I get when legends or stories about my favourite characters of childhood are made into movies. I've always had a special place in my heart for the two legends that can never be part of my country's folklore: Ice and Snow. I've seen icy mountains when I went to the south (Cordillera de Los Andes), but never so far to hold actual snow on my hands. For this reason the legend of Father Winter, Jack Frost and Hans Christian Andersen's tale The Snow Queen have been stories that I loved for years. I've seen many versions in films and animation. Of course, when Tangled came out I wondered if they still have this story in mind. Even though we know Disney changes a lot of the original story (and many film versions do too). I'm completely in awe and expectation for something different. When hallmark released their version, it was turned into a love story, and that was a major plot twist. Now, I have Anna and Elsa, who are sisters. I can see someone telling me the story of how The Snow Queen came to be. I love this in many ways.
So I'm drawing a lot of Elsa lately between work and homework.
Plus, I love her colours *wink*
